What is Project Claim

"Project Claim"arrow-up-right is an official information editing service offered by RootData to the official teams of projects. Its purpose is to enable more accurate and timely updates and maintenance of a project's information page. Official project teams can apply to claim their project on the RootData platform. After account verification, they can submit information updates and correction requests through the information management admin dashboard. These requests will be prioritized for verification and review by the RootData data team.

Project Claim Status

After a project is officially claimed by the team's verified account, a "Project Claim" badge will be displayed.

How to Claim Your Project

Application Portal

  1. Clicking the "Project Claim" badge allows you to directly submit a claim application for the corresponding project.

Project Claim Application Guide

  1. Enter the project name in the "Project to Claim" to search for the project you wish to claim. Once selected, it will automatically match the link to the project's homepage on RootData.

  2. If no matching project is found, please double-check whether the project is already listed on the RootData platform. If your project is not yet listed on RootData, please apply to Get Listedarrow-up-right first.

  1. The account email address used to claim the project will serve as the official account for managing project information. Please use your RootData account associated with your work email to apply for verification. The email domain should be consistent with the project name, e.g., for the project "RootData", an example work email would be "[email protected]envelope". If this email is not registered with RootData, an account will be automatically created upon form submission. Please check your email for a one-time password (OTP).

  2. If you are in direct contact with a RootData team member, please provide the contact information of the corresponding RootData member to expedite the review process.

  3. In the absence of an official email or if you cannot verify your identity through a RootData team member, please submit as many "other supporting documents" as possible to help us verify your information. We accept the following materials:

    1. Official Project 𝕏 Account Link: The official 𝕏 account of the claimed project, e.g., @RootDataCryptoarrow-up-right

    2. Screenshot of a Private Message Statement from the Official 𝕏 Account: Send a private message from the project's official 𝕏 account to @RootDataCryptoarrow-up-right stating authorization for the specified email to manage the project information on RootData. Example statement: "We are the [Project Name] team and authorize the email [email address] to manage our project information on RootData."

    3. Proof of Administrator Access to the Official Website

    4. Proof of Domain Ownership

    5. Other materials that can prove project ownership

  4. After submitting your Project Claim application, you will receive the following prompt. The review result will be sent via email to the account's bound email address within 3-5 business days. Please do not submit duplicate applications during the review period, as this may extend the processing time.

Manage Project Information

Management Dashboard Access

After your claim application is approved, the project team needs to log in to RootData using the claimed account to access the project information management system through the following methods:

  • Click on the user avatar in the top right corner of the webpage, and you can find the "Manage Project Information" entry in the sidebar

Project Information Management System

  • After logging into the backend system with the claimed account, you can supplement, modify, and delete basic information, team members, calendar events, tokenomics, and investment and financing events on the project homepage. Each modification is saved as a draft, and only after clicking submit in the "Investment and Financing Events" section will the modification application form be submitted uniformly. Please do not submit duplicate applications during the review period, as this may extend the processing time.

  • The RootData team typically completes processing within 5-20 business days. Due to the large number of information modification applications we receive daily, and the verification of sensitive information (such as financing data, token unlock information, team member changes, etc.) requiring additional time, the processing cycle for some applications may be longer.
